Parent Coaching

VIRTUAL + IN-PERSON IN NATICK,MA

Who is this for?

Parent Coaching is for you if you are a parent of a child ( birth-age 12) :

✦ who has a struggling child.

✦ who does not understand your child’s behaviors

✦ who wants to know how to change behaviors and dynamics with their child

✦ who wants to help their child feel happy, regulated and secure

✦ who wants to have tools to manage situations with their child

What I do

In Parent Coaching, I create a safe and nurturing space to help parents understand their child and their child’s behaviors. I help parents understand the cause of their child’s behaviors because behavior is their communication. I help parents learn how to respond and support their children. I empower parents to know how best to meet their child’s needs.

What to expect

To get started , I do a two hour assessment with you where you share a full history of your child so that I can learn about how nature and nurture play a role. I get to learn how your child’s temperament and personality came into this world and how your child has responded to all that they have encountered in this world. This knowledge helps me understand your child, your family and your situations. You share with me what is the presenting problem or challenges and then during the assessment I give you my professional perspective, thoughts, suggestions and recommendations. We then together decide frequency of meetings which can vary to monthly, bi-weekly or weekly depending on the need. During our regular sessions, you share with me the events and situations that have occurred. I help you break down the behaviors so that you fully understand what is going on for your child. I coach you on how to respond, react, and intervene. I help you see other perspectives and give you the tools you need to make positive changes.
