Parent Counseling

VIRTUAL + IN-PERSON IN NATICK, MA

Who is this for?

Parent Counseling may be helpful if you:

✦ react more strongly than you want to with your child

✦ feel overwhelmed, burned out or emotionally drained by parenting

✦ notice your child’s behavior brings up old feelings or frustration

✦ want to break generational parenting patterns

✦ struggle with guilt, self-doubt or feeling like you are not doing enough

✦ want to understand why certain situations feel so activating

✦ want to feel calmer, more confident and more connected with your child

What I do

In sessions, we explore what is happening beneath the surface of parenting challenges.

Many reactions are connected to stress, learned patterns, past emotional experiences or nervous system responses. Together, we identify what triggers strong reactions, understand where they come from and begin to shift them.

This work often includes gently exploring and healing earlier emotional experiences, including inner child patterns that may still be influencing how you respond today.

My approach blends traditional mental health therapy with energy psychology to support deeper and lasting change. As you shift internally, your dynamic with your child often shifts as well.

What to expect

Parenting is one of the most meaningful and challenging roles we take on. Parent Counseling offers a supportive space to understand your reactions, emotional triggers and patterns so you can show up with more calm, clarity and connection with your child.

Sessions are a space to talk through parenting situations that feel challenging and to understand why they bring up strong reactions.

You will gain insight into how your own experiences and stress responses influence your parenting while learning how to pause, regulate and respond with more calm. Over time, this supports greater clarity, confidence and emotional balance.

As awareness grows, many parents notice a natural shift in how they relate to their child.

Kind Words From Clients

  • “After having some good success with Parent Coaching with Jill, I started seeing Jill individually for Parent Counseling. She provides safe space and wise prompting. I have been able to hear what my younger versions of my self needed to say and do, but weren't able to. This nurturing listening to of younger versions of me is healing in it's own right, but the added benefit of finding a deep well of empathy for myself and also for my children has been a beautiful process, releasing me from old triggers and surface responses and helping me to take a deep breathe, center myself, and see more clearly what is happening beyond the behaviors of the moment.” - Parent
